It's really hard, and there is definitely a learning curve, and sometimes...well, a LOT with me it seems...Real Life gets in the way. I still think it's worth it, and I'm very new, and just starting to see the drawbacks. For instance, I saw a guy on Hubpages today complaining that a big chunk of his income had gone bye-bye because Google suddenly knocked his site off the front page, and his income went to zero overnight on that page. Well, that's EXACTLY why I don't do it that way. I don't depend on one page for a significant amount of my income. Things change, and now that Google is trying to get away from promoting the one page affiliate sites, and getting more legitimate, a lot of those "one trick johnnies" are going to be hurting...and rightly so. Those of us who fight and struggle to build an entire site with quality content SHOULD and finally WILL rise to the top of the search engines.
